Each month Acadiana Software Group meets at LITE on the 2nd Wednesday of the month that focuses on social interaction and continuing education for technology professionals of Acadiana. Our next meeting will be held at LITE Center Suite 111 beginning at 6:30PM on Wednesday April 13, 2016.

Presenter:
John Ezekiel is a Software Engineer at Potenza Interactive and a leader in the community. He has over 5 years of professional PHP development experience, and has built several enterprise applications across multiple entities. John will give us insight into the popular language of the web PHP. Discussion will cover why it is the black sheep in the web development community. He will also attempt to change perspectives as he reconciles the infectious presence of PHP on the web with it’s shortcomings as a language. Lastly, he will cover the benefits for coders and to help us better understand its merits and the functionality it can provide.
